If you wish to apply for a place for your child at Hansa Kindergarten, please send the application at your earliest convenience.

Child allocation for August is determined during the previous spring but is is possible to send an application even years in advance in order to join the waiting list. Occasionally children are accepted mid year if a space becomes available.

You can add your child on the waiting list by filling in an application form, located at the bottom of this page. The application becomes valid as soon as the administration fee has been paid.

The administration fee is 20€ and payable to the Hansan päiväkotiyhdistys ry bank account: FI27 8000 1070 5739 52. The administration fee is to paid as soon as possible after applying for a place. Please use your child’s name as the reference.

Hansa Kindergarten is primarily aimed at children whose first language is Finnish. We also accept children whose mother tongue is other than Finnish if it considered a suitable option for the child and their family.

In order to offer an early childhood education place to a child, their level of Finnish must be age appropriate.
We offer early childhood education to children aged 3-6 who reside in Espoo. It is possible to start at Hansa aged 3, 4 or 5. In exceptional circumstances a child can start at the preschool but their English must be of at least a basic level.
